It helps keep track of who is there and who isn't. Lucky gate prizes will be announced based of these names and you have to be there to claim. If you need to transfer your ticket to a mate’s name then details on how to do that will be made available in the weeks leading up to the event.

Here is a guide for the bar, individual food vendors will set their own costs. Alcoholic drinks - $5.00-$15.00 Non-alcoholic drinks - $2.00 Kids entertainment will be free at the event.

We strongly encourage all payments to be made via card. This is to ensure speed of service, increased security and ease of transactions at the Bar, Food Outlets and Vendor Stalls. Most importantly, there will be no need to wait in lines, counting out coins to buy a beer, as your friends get thirsty for your round! There will be no ATM or cash out facilities on site.

Absolutely! Under 12s are free to enter, there will be free activities for the kids and our entire venue is licenced so no need to keep separated between the bar and your family (unless you like it like that?)

Emerald BBQ and Beer Fest is a safe and inclusive space for all patrons, vendors, staff and performers. We encourage participation from all members of the community free from prejudice and discrimination. We strongly urge anyone who sees something out of place to report this to staff so appropriate action can be taken.

Emerald BBF is run by volunteers of the Emerald Show Society and we would love some more help. You will get to meet great crew and be a part of the BBF family! We are also looking for some community groups to put in a tender for a range of tasks. This means the group gets some funds and we get some much needed help. Tasks include manning the ticket booth, managing the car park, bar service and grounds clean up. Please register your interest in volunteering by emailing admin@emeraldshow.org.au

Emerald BBF will take place in and around the spacious HIA Pavilion and adjacent areas. Whilst there is plenty of shelter, plenty of warm smokers doing their job and great booze to keep you warm it is still the back end of winter and could always be a bit chilly. Dress appropriately, keep warm and drink responsibly. The show will go on rain or shine.
